How to recognise Original adidas Superstars

Watch out for the shoe strap
In many cases, the tab of the superstars already gives you information about original or plagiarism. It’s best to take the shoes in your hand and take a closer look at the label inside the flap. On all Original Superstars, the country of manufacture, shoe size, date of production, EAN (European Article Number) and serial number are indicated. It is also typical that the sizes are always indicated for different countries. You should also note that the serial number on the left shoe is usually not identical to the one on the right shoe. Also, check that the logo is printed on the outside of the tongue and not punched in. The exact design of the logo may vary depending on the year of manufacture and the Superstar model.
Look at the logo on the heel

Watch out for the original Adidas Superstars lettering & the stripes

Make sure that this is printed and not punched in, and that the type and size of the lettering are true to the original and correctly positioned. In many fake shoes, for example, the stripes are thicker and therefore appear slightly squeezed together.
Shoelaces
Make sure you check the number of eyelets on the shoelaces because this can give you information about original or plagiarism in a few seconds. Children’s and women’s sizes usually have exactly six eyelets, whereas for men’s models there should be seven.
